Your Responsibilities:

Development of the system design of cameras and vision systems; economic and target-oriented technical solution; variant management; review of system tests

Support of development projects according to the V-model, from requirements analysis to system design, technical implementation, review, integration and testing
Joint development of the requirements specification with the customer and internal specialist departments
Close cooperation with all technical specialist groups
Technical control of external development partners
Examination of the technical feasibility of costumer inquiries
Technical contact for customers during integration and acceptance activities
Creation of specification and certification documents
Working in a motivated agile working international project team

Your Qualifications:

A post baccalaureate technical degree (Bachelor or Master in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software/computer engineering or comparable course of studies)
First experience (minimum 5 years) in system engineering and functional safety/ safety criticality aspects
Model-based development of complex systems with UML/SysML would be an advantage
Experience in ATOL/VTOL Systems
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Organizational skills, interpersonal mediation skills
Goal-oriented and proactive way of working, communication and teamwork skills
Technical expertise in functional safety (ISO 26262, DO-254, DO-178) is an advantage

Knowledge of ALM / PLM systems (e.g. Polarion) is a plus

Very good business and technical English, German language skills are an advantage
