Kappa was founded in 1978 and has been part of the THEON Group since 2026.

We have more than 40 years of experience in developing application‑specific cameras and vision systems—rugged, certifiable, and suitable for small and medium production volumes. A particular focus lies on applications in aviation, defense, and switchgear.
