In 2012, we developed the world's first digital car mirror with road traffic approval for Volkswagen's VW XL1, replacing traditional mirrors with a camera-monitor system. This innovation initiated an enhancement of the homologation standards for such technology which is valid until today and earned us the Göttingen Innovation Award.
We excel in developing cameras for regulated markets, providing all prerequisites for certification and approval. The Rearview OneBox® features up to four cameras with digital video output and a control backchannel. It includes the latest technology including LED flicker mitigation, ensuring clear images. Due to the high dynamic range the cameras offer excellent performance in low light. The high-quality optics enhance image clarity, and an integrated smart PTC heater prevents ice and mist buildup, ensuring clear visibility in all conditions.

The Rearview OneBox® | ECU
The brain of every CMS
The Rearview OneBox® is a centralized ECU that can can be integrated to replace all conventional mirror classes on vehicles according to ECE R46 including additional options like parking camera view as well. This powerful ECU is designed to manage up to four cameras (60fps). Additionally, it can handle up to three displays of varying sizes, providing a versatile and comprehensive solution for rearview monitoring. Based on one of the most powerful SoC in the market to run all cameras, displays and software as required.
