Strengthening cooperation with the Baltic and European defence industry

We are pleased to announce that Kappa optronics GmbH, part of the THEON Group, has joined SAPRA – the International Association of Defence Product Manufacturers based in Riga, Latvia. The membership was formalised during a certificate signing with Edgars Zandmanis, Chairman of the Board of SAPRA, and Christian Henn, Business Development Manager at Kappa optronics.

By joining SAPRA, we aim to strengthen cooperation with the Latvian as well as defence industry in all Baltic States and support closer collaboration between Latvian and European defence technology companies. As part of the THEON Group, Kappa contributes its expertise in areas such as situational awareness systems for military vehicles, complementing system‑level capabilities across the group.

We see SAPRA as a focused platform for industrial exchange, partnership building and cross‑border cooperation, and we look forward to engaging actively within the SAPRA network and to strive for joint development projects for world-class night-vision systems.
