Opening of a Fully Integrated Engineering, Service & Production Center

 

We proudly celebrate the official opening of our new Kappa S.L. facilities in Madrid!

The site expands our long‑established Engineering Hub into a fully integrated Engineering, Service & Production Center supporting our Switchgear Monitoring, Aviation, and Defense Land product lines. Operating close to our key European customers enables strong support, short lead times, a high level of service, and mission‑grade manufacturing — meeting the highest requirements for reliability and performance in demanding environments.

With additional production capabilities alongside our sites in Germany and Greece, we further enhance supply‑chain resilience for our customers and create offset capabilities in Spain. We are also progressing toward AS/EN 9100 and EMAR 145 certification to better serve our local aviation partners.

Driven by strong customer demand, we plan to double our Spanish capacities in the mid‑term — a significant step in our roadmap to becoming a leading European optronics supplier for the aviation and defence industry. This expansion further reinforces THEON Group’s strong growth trajectory.
