Design Assurance in camera development is a central requirement in our demanding target industries. Numerous applications are subject to comprehensive, specific quality requirements and safety levels, the fulfillment of which must be documented according to strict directives and standards (i.e., functional safety).
We offer the following standardized design assurance procedures in hardware and software development:
Domain | Safety Levels | Others | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Automotive (ISO 26262) | QM | ASIL-A | ASIL-B/C | ASIL-D | IEC 61508 | |
General (IEC-61508) | SIL 1 | SIL-2 | SIL-3 | |||
Aviation (DO-178/254) | DAL-E | DAL-D | DAL-C | DAL-B | SE ARP 4761 | |
Defense (DO-178/254) wie Aviation | DAL-E | DAL-D | DAL-C | DAL-B |
MIL-STD-882 MIL-STD-1521 MIL-STD-498 NATO: AQAP 2210 AQAP 2110 |
|
Railway (CENELE 50126/128/129) | SIL-1 | SIL-2 | SIL-3 |
Of course, our hard- and software development processes align carefully with the requirements of our target industries which are mapped in their respective V-models. Some examples are the DO-178C V-model in aviation, with the strictest safety requirements of all, or the ISO 26262 V-model for functional safety in automotive applications. Most important: every level is clearly separated within the organization and independently verified.
Design Assurance: safe camera development organized in V models (e.g., DO-178 or ISO 26262)
It goes without saying that our design assurance processes are modified for the requirements in question. For less regulated uses, naturally we offer common, simpler development processes as well. You always profit from our fundamental expertise and diligence in this field.
Do you have other special demands for qualification of our cameras? Talk to us about them! With our years of experience, we service all special requirements with superiority – across sectors and specialized as well.
