25,000 visitors came to the 5th Night of Science in Göttingen! On the program: Discovering the latest LWIR technology from Kappa.

At our booth at the HAWK University of Applied Sciences in Göttingen on July 9, we invited visitors to explore the world of infrared technology with a quiz. Can you see heat and cold? How do I look in a thermal image selfie? And what can the technology be used for? The LWIR camera we brought along attracted a lot of interest.

Also on show: our mirror replacement systems for the automotive market. In the future, they are intended to replace bulky exterior mirrors wherever possible, make vehicles more streamlined and thus contribute significantly to reducing CO2 emissions in road traffic.

Kappa colleagues Jörn von Häfen and Dr. Niclas Mrotzek also gave insightful presentations on both topics. Anyone who wanted to get to know Kappa as an employer afterwards was able to find out more from Katrischa Zarins from Kappa HR.
